Celeb Beauty Secrets: How to Get Texturized Locks With the ‘Wavy Hair Dance’
Here’s how to get a natural, texturized hair look at home.
-- What do actresses Emma Stone, Kate Mara and Diane Kruger all have in common?
Wavy, texturized, tousled tresses, styled by L’Oreal Paris celebrity hairstylist Mara Roszak.
Roszak is revealing all the secrets for her hottest Hollywood hairstyle with something she’s calling the “wavy hair dance.”
Roszak chatted with ABC News’ Sarah Haines about why the look was so popular now.
"It's, you know, perfectly casual, cool, yet still really feminine and you can make it your own,” she said.
Roszak detailed the “dance.”
First step: Apply a volumizing spray to the hair.
Second step: Use a curling wand without a clip for a more natural wave, taking pieces of hair and wrapping them up and over the wand. Hold it for a few seconds and release it before moving on to another piece of hair.
For natural-looking locks, switch the direction in which you curl, Roszak said.
Once your hair is fully done, use a texturizing or sea salt spray to finish the look.
