Epic 6-Layer Cereal Cake the Next-Level Breakfast Dessert Mash-Up

— -- Cereal lovers, take note. Cake lovers, too, for that matter. The genius behind the beloved cherpumple (several layers of pies baked into a single cake) is back again with another insane dessert creation: the six-layer cereal cake.

That’s Apple Jacks with Spice Cake, Trix with Blue Velvet Cake, Cinnamon Toast Crunch with Yellow Cake, Peanut Butter Crunch with Chocolate Cake, Froot Loops with Red-Colored White Cake and Cocoa Puffs with White Cake, all stacked into one and topped with Frosted Flake icing, to be clear.

“I just love to experiment in the kitchen with everyday grocery store food items. I say this is fun food not fine food. And I love to put the kitsch in kitchen,” creator Charles Phoenix told ABC News. "I had a cabinet full of cake mix and I had a refrigerator top full of cereals and I thought, ‘Gee, I wonder what it would be like if I soaked the cereal in the milk and folded each one of them into the appropriate kind of cake flavor and stacked it up and frosted it.’ And so I did.”
