Farm Seeks Volunteers to Snuggle Baby Goats
It's impossible to have a baaad time snuggling a baby goat.
-- A Virginia farm got an overwhelming response from people who volunteered to snuggle their baby goats this winter. Caromont Farm is expecting the baby goats, called kids, to be born around mid-February.
The farm was looking for helpers to bottle feed and keep kids warm. The babies get heaters, hay and even tiny sweaters to keep them warm but as most humans know, sometimes nothing beats the cold like a good snuggle.
All of the snuggling shifts are currently filled but in response to the enthusiasm of wannabe helpers, Caromont Farm is hosting a “Goatapalooza” in April to try and accommodate all desired goat-snugglers.
