It is unclear why a person so concerned with cleanliness that they would use finger naps would not instead choose to use more widely available plastic gloves.
An obvious food situation where finger naps would be useful: eating ribs or buffalo wings.
A website that sells the Finger Naps suggests using them, in addition to the oily food scenario, in the following situations: eating outside, applying ointment, having a test, cleaning. They are billed as a "great help to children and the elderly" and are eco-friendly and made from biodegradable plastic. They come in children's sizes and finger naps dispensers are sold separately.
