Kenny Rogers' Georgia Farm Hits Auction Block at $3.5 Million
"The Gambler" singer is working with an auction house to sell the farm.
-- "The Gambler" is folding on his Georgia farm.
Singer Kenny Rogers is helping to sell Beaver Dam Farm, the farm in which he once lived, located right outside Athens, Georgia.
Although the farm was turned into a resort and event facility in recent years -- after Rogers sold the farm in 2003 -- the singer wants to see his beloved farm in good hands when it hits the auction block later this month.
The farm, which was designed by Rogers, 77, was built on 973 acres of land. The farm features a 12,000-square-foot mansion that includes 20 bedrooms, five guest houses, a clubhouse, three private lakes, two swimming pools, two tennis courts and a golf course.
The highest bidder can also enjoy the farm's walking and riding trails, waterfalls and gardens.
The farm -- along with all its furnishings -- is set to be auctioned July 9. The starting price is $3.5 million.
