The boy who restored our faith in humanity and kids in particular has been found.
After the video of his good deed -- filling an empty candy bowl with his own stash on Halloween -- was caught on a home surveillance camera, it was shared on social media and viewed more than a million times.
The video was taken at the home of Jesse Robertson in Idaho Falls, Idaho, who told ABC News he first saw the footage the morning after Halloween. The Robertsons' candy had been "stolen," according to Jesse's Facebook post, and Hayden Chapple, 11, was there to make things right for the other trick-or-treaters.
Hayden's mom, Heather Chapple, told ABC News she "is so proud of Hayden," who dressed as Eleven from "Stranger Things" for the holiday.
"I've had a few people reach out to me from across the country just thanking me for raising a kind child and making their day a little better knowing that good people still exist," she said.
She added that her son has "always had a soft heart."
