Maid of honor delivers wedding rap set to Eminem song for sister

"I loved it. Everyone loved it. People are still talking about it.”

The bride said she’d been hoping her sister would perform something on her big day “because she’s very musically inclined,” Spadacenta, 25, told ABC News. “But, she did not give me any idea that she was actually going to do it.”

When the wedding day arrived on Aug. 31 in New Haven, Connecticut, Miessau did not disappoint.

“I thought she might sing or something, but she blew it out of the water with this,” said Spadacenta. “She did not miss a beat. I was thoroughly impressed.”

The maid of honor re-wrote the lyrics to have a bit of fun with the groom describing his “jeep with a ton of deer figurines,” but added that her sister, the bride, didn’t care because he’s “six feet, Italian and very sweet.”

Spadacenta said her husband, Paul, was “completely surprised” by the funny speech-turned-rap.

“I thought it was really hysterical,” she said about the clever gesture. “I was definitely surprised she was able to rhyme, rap and still make the story make sense. That takes a lot of creativity. I loved it. Everyone loved it. People are still talking about it.”
