This Man's Light Display Earns Him the Unofficial Title 'King of Christmas'
An electrician in the UK has a front yard Christmas display of 200,000 lights.
-- An electrician in Wiltshire, England, is the unofficial “king of Christmas” with a front yard lighting display so elaborately festive that it would put Clark Griswold to shame.
The entire thing is comprised of around 200,000 lights and takes about five weeks to set up, outdoing the star character in National Lampoon's "Christmas Vacation."
Not surprisingly, loads of people come to marvel at the display which has been ornately staged every holiday season for 15 years.
And it’s all for a good cause—the owner, Alex Goodhind, raises money for the local hospice that cared for his mother before she died.
This year Goodhind has already raised more than $23,500 from donations given by people who come to see his light show.
