Meet Google, Your New Cocktail Recipe Bartender
Ok Google, how do I make a Manhattan?
-- Because sometimes you just need a cocktail recipe right freaking now, Google has solved all your problems.
Now, when you search for a cocktail recipe, the instructions show up on your search page -- no need to navigate to results pages.
Google culls the recipes from a variety of sources that have been vetted for accuracy, a spokesperson told ABC News. For the 189 recipes they search engine so far provides, searchers will get a list of ingredients with step-by-step preparation instructions, along with suggestions for garnish and drinkware.
Beyond typing in the search on a desktop or mobile app, you can also just press the mic on the Google app on iPhone or Android and ask “Ok Google, how do I make a Manhattan?” or “Ok Google, how do I make sangria?”
The most-searched cocktail so far in 2015 is the Moscow mule, followed by the margarita, bloody mary, hot toddy and more – chances are they’ll be among the recipes you’ll be wanting most.
