Michael Moore and Seth Rogen Banned from Michigan Restaurant for 'American Sniper' Tweets

— -- In case Michael Moore or Seth Rogen ever find themselves in Wyoming, Michigan, they'd better stay away from Tommy Brann’s.
“Michael Moore and Seth Rogen are NOT allowed in my place,” the electronic sign outside the restaurant reads.
Owner Tommy Brann decided to write the sign after comedian Seth Rogen and filmmaker Michael Moore both appeared to take aim at Chris Kyle and "American Sniper" on social media recently. Rogen wrote that the movie reminded him of a scene about Nazi propaganda in the film "Inglourious Basterds."
Moore discussed his uncle being killed by a sniper in World War II. “We were taught snipers were cowards,” he wrote.
Both Rogen and Moore later suggested that their comments were taken out of context, but the implication was enough to raise the hackles of many, including Brann.
“It really disturbed me what they said, especially after Chris Kyle dying. He’s far from being a coward. I was mad, it’s my restaurant, I want to do it, so I did it,” Brann told ABC News. “I have a lot of military friends, my uncle Dave was a prisoner of war in Germany, my uncle Ted served, my dad served. I think it was a slam on the military and a slam on Chris Kyle.”
One of Brann’s ex-employees then posted a picture of the sign to Facebook, where it started to gain attention, garnering hundreds of likes and shares.
“I don’t hate them or anything. I don’t even know them personally, but it was hateful thing he [Moore] said, and it made me mad. I thought, ‘God, Chris Kyle doesn’t deserve that,’” Brann said. “If he were still alive he wouldn’t need anyone to stick up for him; he can take care of himself. But sadly he’s not.”
