Mom Covers 'Bohemian Rhapsody' in Hilarious Parody Video
"The lyrics are just so perfect for a mom anthem," she said.
-- Moms looking for a laugh need look no further than this parenting video going viral.
Deva Dalporto, a San Francisco Bay Area mom of two and creator of other popular parenting videos, has just released a cover of "Bohemian Rhapsody," a project she calls "a labor of love."
"I'd been dying to do it, but it was so epic in scope," she told ABC News. "The lyrics are just so perfect for a mom anthem."
Sample lyrics: "Open my eyes, my kids are staring at me // I'm just a poor mom who needs a sec to pee // But I'm wiping butts, folding clothes, driving kids too and fro // Everywhere I go they just want to follow me, follow me."
This particular video took her "10 times as long" as her other hits, which include the "Let It Go" mom parody and "Suburban Funk."
She's been at it for just a year, but Dalporto said this is what she loves to do.
"People love it," she said. "And this seems to be the favorite of all the videos. I'm getting a lot of great feedback from men, too."
She's using the viral success of her videos to do good in the community. For the Bohemian Rhapsody cover, the local school auctioned off parts in the production, raising a few thousand dollars.
