Peek Inside Donald Trump's Childhood Home

The Queens, New York, home is up for auction.

The Queens, New York home where the presidential hopeful lived as a baby is up for auction. The opening bid is $849,000.

The house is located in the Jamaica Estates neighborhood and had previously been on the market for $1.65 million, listed by Laffey Real Estate.

According to the listing, the "brick & stucco Tudor features five bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a living room with fireplace, formal dining room, eat in kitchen with sliders to sun room, paneled study, and hardwood floors."

It also has a full finished basement with bonus room, full bath and two outside entrances. It also has a "summer kitchen."

Neither Trump nor the Trump family owns the house now, the listing states.

The owners, who are restaurateurs in Manhattan, are selling the house because they are getting divorced, according to a news release. “We are choosing to auction the property because we don’t know what it’s worth," the release quotes the owners as saying. "It is unique and the market has changed so much since we purchased the property; we will let buyers bid what they wish and tell us what it’s worth."

The auction will take place on Oct. 19 in Manhattan.
