Romantic Drone Wedding Video Has Crash Landing
The video of the Utah couple's wedding shoot has gone viral.
-- Love was certainly in the air for this bride and groom as a drone was romantically capturing some beautiful aerial shots on their big day—That is, until it crashed into a tree.
“They’re both outdoorsy people and wanted to have an outdoor shoot,” videographer Zack Nelson, 27, told ABC News. “They knew I had this drone and thought it’d be cool, and since drones are super loud they didn’t’ want it during the actual ceremony so we were getting some shots beforehand.”

The happy couple was enjoying their time on-camera dancing around a field in Utah before their ceremony on June 6 when suddenly they saw the drone take a turn for the worse.
“When it hit the tree I personally wasn’t worried because it’s not the first tree I’ve hit,” said Nelson. “I knew the branches would set it down pretty gently. But they were worried about it like, ‘Oh I just broke my friend’s drone!’”
Two of the rotors broke but “luckily,” he explained, “I had backups so I replaced it on the spot.”
The video has now gone viral with nearly 250,000 views in just one day.
