An estimated 140 million Americans are expected to start their holiday shopping in stores and online over Thanksgiving weekend, according to the National Retail Federation.
How can you make sure you are getting the best deals possible and saving the most money?
“Good Morning America” contributor Becky Worley is tracking the Black Friday madness and has a list of where and when to shop. Her insider tip: almost all of these deals are available online too.
Black Friday Apparel Deals
Clothing retailers Old Navy and Gap are both offering 50 percent off sales.
JC Penney is offering an average of 65 percent off its merchandise.
Black Friday Deals on Gift Cards
Target gift cards are 10 percent off.
Look for 20 percent off iTunes gift cards at Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco and on eBay.
Cyber Monday Travel Deals
Shop Monday for the best deals on hotel rooms.
Rooms at Trump Hotel Collection locations in New York City will be 30 to 50 percent off, while rooms at the Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe will be 40 percent off.
Nationally, rooms at Red Roof Inns will be 30 percent off.
Black Friday Deals on Electronics
2014 is all about the rebates and bundles.
Walmart shoppers can get an iPhone 6 for $100 off (the phone savings bundled with a Walmart gift card).
The Galaxy S5 is on sale for $1 at Best Buy if you purchase a two-year contract.
The Amazon Kindle is on sale right now for $49, down from its normal $79 price.
Beats by Dr. Dre Solo HD Drenched Headphones will be $69.99 after a mail-in rebate at RadioShack, a savings of $100 off the retail price. (Check availability at your local RadioShack.)
Black Friday Deals on Makeup and Body Care
The Body Shop is offering three items for $33 and offering their limited edition tote bag for sale for $30 with any $30 purchase.
Amazon.com is selling a Panasonic electric razor for $69, down from its usual $199 retail price.
