Skip the Dunking: This Donut Has the Coffee Inside of It
Skip the dunking. This donut comes with the coffee already inside of it.
-- Coffee and donuts make a great pairing, but have you ever yearned for something more streamlined? Say, a donut with the coffee already inside of it? If you have, your wish has been granted.
Dunkin’ Donuts has added to its menu donuts flavored with its own coffee blend, the chain said Monday in a statement.

The donuts are available in two varieties. The Glazed Coffee Creme donut has a glazed yeast shell filled with coffee buttercream and drizzled with chocolate icing. There's also a Coffee, Creme & Sugar donut, which has a yeast shell, coffee buttercream filling and powdered sugar.
The chain isn’t the first to offer the novelty item. Donut-and-coffee chain Krispy Kreme also had coffee-flavored donuts on its menu earlier this year.
Dunkin’ Donuts’ coffee donuts will be available for a limited time at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants across the nation, the company said.
The brand also announced the addition of two new flavor enhancers for its coffee drinks. The new options -- French Vanilla and Hazelnut Swirls -- are permanent additions to the menu.
