"I love to welcome guests who can really feel that my house is their home," the statement continued. "Whether it is a personal shooting lesson with the gamekeeper, or a tutorial from the butler, we like to make sure the experience is authentic."

Stewart-Clark adds that for fans of the British TV series, their "Downton Experience" can be customized for groups ranging from 2 to 20 people. Any package can include a variety of experiences, including a private tour of the grounds, learning how to make a bed like a housekeeper, cooking with Stewart-Clark's private chef or just living like the lord or lady of the house inside the castle.

To live like royalty isn't cheap. The "Downton Experience" at Dundas Castle, a five-star hotel, starts from $3,561 U.S. dollars per day.
