Watch One Mom Attempt Chores With Baby Nearby

Mom shows why she can't get anything done.

— -- Esther Anderson has her hands full with her 15-month-old daughter Ellia.

"We moved to Tampa, Florida and since then Ellia has learned to walk," said Anderson, owner of the family blog Storyofthislife.com. "So now we’re going from the baby to toddler phase."

With Ellia being mobile and quite curious of her Mom's day-to-day activities, Anderson says simple things like daily chores have become more of a challenge.

"Once I was sitting on my couch at the end of the day and I said, 'What did I do today?' Did I get anything done?,'" she told ABC News. "That day, she [Ellia] was following me around and I said 'other moms definitely go through this,' so I just set up the camera."

Anderson hit the record button and went about her day doing housework like sweeping, doing laundry and loading the dishwasher.

Following behind was Ellia, hilariously reversing each job her mom attempted to get done.

"I never had to pose her once," Anderson said. "I filmed the whole thing in one afternoon."

"We have had several videos that went viral," she said. "With every video you're going to have negative comments and it doesn't bother me. We are trying to make a comedic video to show how frustrating it could be for moms who feel that they're working backwards all day," she says.

While Anderson says the video is meant to be lighthearted, some viewers criticize what they believe to be a 'lack of discipline' with Ellia.

"The way I respond to that is Ellia knows what 'no' means," she said. "My husband and I do discipline. What I say is you can teach babies 'no,' but you can't stop them from putting yogurt on their faces or playing in the dirt. Babies will be babies!"

As for future videos, Anderson says she already has a lineup in the works.

"We have lists and lists of people to enjoy. I believe the next one were going to make is actually going to be with my husband and I."
