O.A.S.I.S (Online Asperger Syndrome Information and Support)
O.A.S.I.S. is a resource created by parents of children who are diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. Provides information for families of children diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome and related disorders, educators who teach children with AS, professionals working with individuals diagnosed with AS, and individuals with AS who are seeking support. Although recently reminded that there is no oasis or paradise for those with Asperger Syndrome, we sincerely hope that they, along with parents and professionals, will find a bit of shade and support via the information presented and links available at this site.
ASPEN (Asperger Syndrome Education Network Inc.)
A national volunteer nonprofit organization headquartered in New Jersey. Established in 1997, ASPEN is dedicated to providing support, advocacy and information to individuals and families whose lives are affected by AS, PDD-NOS, and HFA and the health and educational professionals who work alongside them.
The Yale Child Study Center in New Haven, Conn., offers comprehensive, multidisciplinary evaluations for children with social disabilities, focusing on diagnosis and intervention.
GRASP: The Global and Regional Asperger Syndrome Partnership
Grasp is an organization that serves individuals on the autism spectrum, and is run by those individuals.
Organization for Autism Research (OAR)
The Organization for Autism Research (OAR) was created in December 2001 -- the product of the shared vision and unique life experiences of OAR's seven founders. Led by these parents and grandparents of children and adults on the autism spectrum, OAR set out to use applied science to answer questions that parents, families, individuals with autism, teachers and caregivers confront daily.
National Alliance for Autism Research & Cure Autism Now have joined Autism Speaks as one united organization.

Don Meyer runs sibshops, which are sibling support groups all over the world for brothers and sisters and families of children with special needs.
The Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center
The DDDC exists to meet the needs of people with autism spectrum disorders and their families. As a university-based program, our commitment includes the education of undergraduate and graduate students through research, training and consultative services. We also strive to provide information about the treatment and education of people with autism spectrum disorders to the entire professional community and to the general public. In addition, we are committed to furthering the understanding of the nature and treatment of autism spectrum disorders through research.
