Barack Obama talks middle class tax relief in an 12:45 pm ET speech hosted by the Tax Policy Center and Brookings's Opportunity '08 project at Embassy Row Hilton in Washington, DC. The senator later makes his way to City Center Lot on 11th and H street in DC for a 5:00 pm ET Countdown to Change fundraising event.
John Edwards is in Texas attending private events.
Picking up where some of his fellow '08ers left off on Monday, Bill Richardson makes 9:30 am ET remarks to the construction workers' union, LIUNA, in Chicago at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers.

Mitt Romney begins his day raising campaign coin in New York City at a 7:15 am ET breakfast fundraiser before making his way to Florida for another fundraiser and a 5:30 pm ET "Ask Mitt Anything" event at Thrasher-Horne Conference Center in Orange Park.
John McCain, a Christian Baptist, is back in Washington, DC where he holds a finance event.
Fred Thompson is in Florida where he meets with Republican governor Charlie Crist.
Sam Brownback is in Washington, DC tending to his Senate business.
At press time President Bush's schedule was not immediately available. His nominee for Attorney General Michael Mukasey mostly dodged heat from members of the Democratic-Congress. In fact, he got high praise from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid who said Mukasey has "strong professional credentials and a reputation for independence." We'll see if Democrats' niceness changes and if the ACLU continues to make hey.
On Capitol Hill. . .
The Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee holds a 10:00 am ET hearing on the NFL retirement system with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, NFL Players Association Executive Director Gene Upshaw Mike Ditka and Gayle Sayers
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer holds his usual 11:30 am ET pen and pad briefing.
The Senate has a test vote on a bill that would make Washington, DC a full legislative district in the House and give Utah a 4th district.
