SNEAK PEEK: Flip the Script

As he knocks Clinton on experience, Obama talks foreign policy.

November 26, 2007— -- 37 days until the Iowa caucuses

In an interview airing tonight on Nightline, Barack Obama strikes at the heart of Hillary Clinton's fundamental strength and experience pitch and questions whether being a two term first lady makes her the most qualified candidate to be president.

"There is no doubt that Bill Clinton had faith in her and consulted with her on issues, in the same way that I would consult with Michelle, if there were issues," Obama told ABC's Terry Moran this weekend in Iowa. "On the other hand, I don't think Michelle would claim that she is the best qualified person to be a United States Senator by virtue of me talking to her on occasion about the work I've done" LINK

TiVo Alert! You can watch the interview tonight at 11:35 pm ET on ABC.

You may recall Obama's foreign policy experience came under assault last week by Clinton when she mocked his years living abroad as a child. Well, Tuesday morning Obama, with his foreign policy advisors by his side, holds a dialogue with New Hampshire residents. The Senator is bringing some big guns to his 8:30 am ET summit in Portsmith. Notice the ties some of the advisors have to the Clinton administration.

On hand: Richard Danzig, former Secretary of the Navy under President Clinton; Tony Lake, National Security Advisor to President Clinton; retired Admiral John Hutson; Susan Rice, former Assistant Secretary of State, under President Clinton; Professor Samantha Power; retired U.S. Air Force Brigadier General Jim Smith, and retired Iraq vet Ryan Gray.
