Bernie Sanders to Stump for Hillary Clinton Next Week

The Vermont senator is going back on the campaign trail.

Then he will participate in an organizing event in Lebanon. That event was promoted today by the Clinton campaign. "Sanders will discuss Hillary Clinton's plan [for] building an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top," the Clinton campaign said in a press release.

Sanders' return to campaign life was expected. He has repeatedly expressed interest in traveling again and working to get out the vote, especially in areas where he did well. He beat Clinton by 22 percentage points in New Hampshire. The two returned there together in July for a joint event where Sanders formally endorsed his former opponent.

Clinton is also attending two events on Monday.
