Delaware 2024 live election results: Harris projected to win
The state has three electoral votes.
ABC News is projecting that Vice President Kamala Harris will win Delaware's three electoral votes.
In addition to the presidential race, voters in Delaware cast their ballot in several down-ballot races, including for governor.
ABC News is projecting that Democratic candidate Matt Meyer will win the open seat for governor against Republican Mike Ramone to replace the term-limited Gov. John Carney.
ABC News is projecting that Democratic Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester will win a Senate seat to become the first woman and first Black woman to represent Delaware in the Senate. She was previously the first woman and the first Black person to represent Delaware in Congress.
State significance
Delaware is a Democratic stronghold, having voted for the party’s candidate in every election since 1992. The closest result in the last 32 years was Hillary Clinton’s nearly 12 percentage point win over former President Donald Trump in 2016. President Joe Biden, who represented Delaware in the Senate for decades, defeated Trump by nearly 30 percentage points in 2020.
