Donald Trump Reminds Crowd That He Could Buy Elections If He Wanted To

"I can buy more elections than they ever thought of," he told supporters.

He began by talking about the actions he says some campaigns take to woo delegates.

“They can take the delegates, they can put them in airplanes and fly them to resorts, they can have dinners with them,” he said at a rally here in Indianapolis. “They can put them in hotels. Essentially, what they're saying is they can buy the election.”

The billionaire businessman then reminded the crowd at the Indiana State Fairgrounds that if buying elections were a game, he would definitely be the winner.

"I can buy more elections than they ever thought of. Believe me, but I think it's such a bad system,” he said. “It's so unfair and it really is.”

Since then, Trump has denounced the process, saying that he prefers states like New York.
