Election Cycle: Off-Road Racers Hope Donald Trump Crosses the Finish Line in First
Hundreds gather for one of the U.S.’s largest Powder Powder Puff off-road races.
-- In the Mojave desert, hundreds gathered for one of the nation’s largest Powder Puff off-road races. I took a pit stop from biking and hitched a ride on one of the “trophy trucks.”
Located just south of Barstow, Calif., the 11th annual “Race Towards a Cure” attracts over 60 female contestants who haul around an approximately 12-mile track for up to four hours for each heat.
While these trucks raced over massive rocks and ditches at speeds of up to 50 miles per hour, another race also is nearing the finish line.
We asked the off-road enthusiasts about the bumpy road to the White House and who they wanted to win.
