GOP Voters Predict Which Candidate Will Drop Out of the Presidential Race Next

Political prognosticators are wondering: Which GOP contender will drop next?

And, now, political prognosticators everywhere are all wondering the same thing: Which of the 15 remaining Republican White House contenders will be the next to drop out of the race?

Jessica Kramer, a student at Liberty University, the Christian college in Virginia, said candidates who are scraping rock-bottom in the polls should get the boot.

Paul Martin, a volunteer at the summit, a gathering of faith-focused GOP voters, agreed with Kramer.

“I’m just going to say Donald Trump, because I don’t really agree with him,” said Aidan Chalkley, an enlisted Marine. “He says the things that everybody wants to hear, but it doesn’t seem like it’s what he believes. I don’t think he would be a good presidential candidate.”

Joe Ryan, a native of Washington, DC who attended the conference, agreed with Chalkley.

“I think Trump ought to get out of the race. He’ll never be president -- he couldn’t be president -- and it’s all about him,” Ryan said. “But he’s going to spend all of his money, and he’s not going to be elected."

But, Ryan added, “he’s not gonna do it.”

And if not Trump?

“Probably Huckabee,” Ryan said.
