Ivanka Trump Brand 'Making Adjustments' After Promoting Bracelet Worn During Interview

Ivanka Trump's team sent an alert about a bracelet she wore during an interview.

The email, touted as a “style alert,” was sent to fashion writers Monday — the day after the interview aired — noting that the accessory was Trump’s “favorite bangle from the Metropolis Collection.”

In a statement from Ivanka Trump brand President Abigail Klem, the blame was placed on a “well-intentioned” employee “who, like many of us, is still making adjustments post-election.”

“We are proactively discussing new policies and procedures with all of our partners going forward,” said Klem.

In addition to the bracelet, of which there are versions that cost $8,800 and $10,000, the Ivanka Trump line sells clothing, handbags and other accessories. Donald Trump’s business interests include Trump-branded hotels, steaks and wines.

Pressed on speculation that she will seek a role in the administration, Ivanka Trump said, “I’m going to be a daughter. I’ve said throughout the campaign that I am very passionate about certain issues and that I want to fight for them … but not in a formal administrative capacity.”

On Friday, Donald Trump Sr. named his children Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr. and her husband, Jared Kushner, to his presidential transition committee.
