Joe Biden Jokes He Expects to Be Trump's VP Pick
Joe Biden says he "anticipates" a nod from GOP front-runner Donald Trump.
-- A day after the Republican National Committee announced Donald Trump “will be presumptive GOP nominee,” Vice President Biden let it be known he still doesn't take the business mogul seriously.
"I anticipate he'll ask me to be vice president," Biden said, responding to a shouted question at the State Department today.
The room full of Central American heads of delegation laughed and Biden cracked a smile before adding, "I have nothing serious to say."
If Trump is to be believed, Biden would fit several of the candidate's stated prerequisites for his hopeful VP pick.
Trump told “Good Morning America” today he would hope to have someone with "great political experience" who is skilled in dealing with the Senate.
But don't expect to see a Trump- Biden ticket any time soon because the New York real estate developer also told ABC News that his pick would "definitely" be a Republican.
