--ANALYSIS -- ABC's RICK KLEIN: It's easy enough to mock a particular media portrayal of Marco Rubio, cast as -- shock! -- someone who has struggled with his finances yet owns a luxury boat that isn't that fancy and an expensive home that looks, well, fine. (The previous New York Times take on Rubio's past, on his driving record, didn't help its subsequent story.) But even as Rubio's campaign raises money off of the pair of Times stories, seeds of serious questions about Rubio are being planted. There are relationships with people as varied as former Rep. David Rivera and billionaire Norman Braman; credit-card missteps involving personal charges on a state-party card; and even the still-strange and very recent decision to cash out some 401(k) funds, penalty and all. If the story develops into one of a financially strapped young family, trying to make ends meet, it will all be part of a stump speech soon enough. But if it becomes one about a man with a law degree and six-figure income who couldn't keep his finances straight, it will become part of a debate-stage attack just as quickly.
--HERE'S WHAT MARCO RUBIO'S WEST MIAMI HOME LOOKS LIKE: Rubio and his wife purchased their West Miami home in 2005. According to The Times: "The house, among the more expensive in West Miami, stood out from the aging homes nearby: It includes an in-ground pool, a handsome brick driveway, meticulously manicured shrubs and oversize windows." --JOHN KASICH STAFFS UP: Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a likely presidential contender, has brought on two top Republican consultants, according to a source familiar with the hires, ABC's KATHERINE FAULDERS reports. John Weaver will be a senior strategist for the campaign and Fred Davis will be the lead media consultant. Both have experience on presidential campaigns and both worked for Sen. John McCain in 2008. The Washington Post first reported the hires last night.

5 THINGS TO EXPECT FROM JEB BUSH'S EUROPEAN TRIP. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush visits three European nations this week -- just a week before he's expected to officially announce his presidential candidacy. Foreign trips can often prove problematic for potential candidates. Bush is in Germany today and will travel to Poland and Estonia. --WHAT BUSH SAID IN BERLIN. Bush addressed the Economic Council of the Christian Democratic Party in Berlin yesterday. As expected, he pushed hard against Russia's aggression, calling Putin a "ruthless pragmatist", touted his father's efforts in Germany's unification (to great applause), and attacked President Obama's policies in Iraq, China, and on spending, ABC's CANDACE SMITH writes. Toward the end of his Q&A, when he was asked about the NSA -- a particularly sore spot for the Germans in the wake of revelations that Angela Merkel was being spied on. Bush acknowledged a broken relationship and replied, "This relationship trumps everything else." Bush also took a hit at Hillary Clinton's time with the State Department, saying in reference to Russia, "think we're beginning to realize that the reset button didn't turn out so hot." TODAY ON THE TRAIL with ABC's CHRIS GOOD: Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush continues his trip to Germany, where he'll "hold a roundtable discussion with German political, policy and business leaders, hosted by Atlantik-Brucke, a private, non-profit, nonpartisan association with the goal of building a bridge between Germany and the United States," according to his team. Chris Christie will deliver a keynote address to the Latino Coalition Business Summit at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce at 12:15 pm ET. Ben Carson will be in Iowa, where he'll attend a Westside Conservative Club breakfast at the Machine Shed Restaurant in Urbandale. Later, he'll volunteer at the Northeast Iowa Food Bank in Waterloo; visit the PIPAC Centre, a convention center in Cedar Falls; and partake in an ice-cream social at the Pine Lake Wildlife Club in Eldora. Rick Santorum will be in Chattanooga, Tenn., where he'll hold a media availability at Cumulus Media. Carly Fiorina will be in New Hampshire, where she'll tour and deliver remarks at Cirtronics Corporation in South Milford. She'll also attend a Salem GOP house party in Salem.
THE DRAFT-ELIZABETH-WARREN MOVEMENT WON'T DIE: MoveOn and Democracy for America are holding a conference call today to discuss "what comes next" after they delivered 365,000 signatures asking Sen. Elizabeth Warren to run for president. On a related note, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee will hold an event on the Hill pressing for debt-free college, with an eye toward raising the issue's profile in the 2016 presidential campaign. The event will include House Progressives and some big names from the Senate, including Warren, Chuck Schumer, and Al Franken.
WHERE ALL OF PRESIDENT OBAMA'S TOP AIDES HAVE ENDED UP. President Barack Obama's former press secretary Robert Gibbs is far from the first high profile staffer to leave the White House for a plum private sector gig, ABC's MEGHAN KENEALLY notes. The announcement that Gibbs will be headed to work in the corporate offices of McDonald's Golden Arches makes his just one of the latest who joined companies with household names. Gibbs' successor, Jay Carney, left the White House in May 2014 to join Amazon and is said to report directly to the company's CEO Jeff Bezos. OBAMACARE IS NEW REALITY OF AMERICAN HEALTH CARE, THE PRESIDENT SAYS. In the face of a possible Supreme Court decision that could overturn his landmark health care law, President Obama is renewing the case for why the program is a success. "It is serving so many people so much better. And we're not going to go backwards," the president said Tuesday in remarks to the Catholic Hospital Association's annual conference in Washington, D.C. The president's remarks came as the Affordable Care Act faces a key test before the Supreme Court. The court is weighing whether individuals living in states without a statewide exchange program should continue to receive federal subsidies. BOMB THREAT PROMPTS WHITE HOUSE BRIEFING ROOM EVACUATION. The White House Briefing Room in the West Wing was evacuated Tuesday after a bomb threat, officials told ABC NEWS. The incident, in the middle of a briefing, happened shortly after a Senate office building on Capitol Hill had its own bomb threat scare. DC Metropolitan Police received the threat against the White House over the phone at 1:53 p.m., according to Secret Service spokesman Brian Leary. The briefing room was evacuated as a precaution, and was the only part of the White House evacuated, according to White House Spokesman Josh Earnest. Reporters and producers were quickly herded out of the complex into an auditorium in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building across the street. The West Wing threat was cleared shortly after 2:30 p.m. and the briefing resumed. http://abcn.ws/1HnmtxQ
