Pennsylvania, a key 2020 battleground state, has moved to a primarily mail-in election. The state instituted election changes in 2019, expanding the absentee ballot process for all voters. Ballots had to be received by 8 p.m. EDT on June 2. There are 186 pledged delegates available for Democrats and 88 for Republicans.
State significance
Pennsylvania is a coveted swing state. Hillary Clinton won the Democratic primary in 2016 with 55% of the vote.
