Republican Candidates Meet in Milwaukee for 4th Debate
Live updates on the fourth GOP debate from the ABC News political team.
-- Hello Wisconsin! The fourth Republican primary presidential debate is in Milwaukee tonight and this time around, eight of the 15 candidates are participating in the main stage debate.
Candidates Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, John Kasich and Rand Paul will be taking questions from moderators starting at 9 p.m. ET on Fox Business. Fox Business Network’s Neil Cavuto and Maria Bartiromo, along with The Wall Street Journal’s Editor-in-Chief Gerard Baker, are moderating.
The criteria to make the debate differed this time, which is why two candidates -- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee -- have been bumped from the prime time debate and are now slated for the undercard debate. Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum will also be in the undercard debate.
Excluded from both debates are South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, former New York Gov. George Pataki and former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore.
In a press release, Fox Business Network announced that the debates will "focus on jobs, taxes, and the general health of the economy, as well as domestic and international policy issues."
Keep checking back for updates from the ABC News political team as the candidates prepare for tonight.
