Trump Answers Fans' Questions in Reddit AMA

Trump dealt with subjects ranging from space exploration to the police.

Trump has been an Internet phenomenon since announcing his candidacy in 2015, and Reddit has served as a kind of hot spot for dialogue about his ideas for his fans. Trump, who was flying from an event in Scranton to an event in Toledo during the session, was delayed at the start of the event, and replied to questions slowly.

"Voter fraud is always a serious concern and authorities must be vigilant from keeping those from voting that are not authorized to do so," Trump said in response to a question about the potential for rigged voting machines in November.

Several users expressed concern that the media and government were colluding to interfere with Trump's campaign, and block him from winning the presidency. Trump said that he was concerned about the "dishonesty of the press," and praised "new media" as a way to get out the truth.

"Honestly I think NASA is wonderful! America has always led the world in space exploration," Trump said.

"Whew I'm tired of winning. (I'm not.)" a user named "pexifissy" wrote in reply.

Trump also criticized his opponent's perceived lack of willingness to speak to the media.

The online event, which Trump promised on social media would be "HUGE," was hindered by WiFi connectivity problems during the session. Still, the session provided an opportunity for some of Trump's bigger fans online to speak to him directly, and say anything they wanted. As a result of this, some comments were stranger than others.

"Mr. President Trump, sir. His Nimbleness. 2017-2025, His Golden Lionself. Thank you for gracing us with your presence," a user called Get-Em-Out said while leading into an unanswered question about legalized drugs.
