Trump Bashes Cruz 'Wining and Dining' Delegates, But Says He Has 'Better Toys'

Trump Bashes Cruz "wining and dining" delegates, but says he has "better toys"

Trump said his campaign lost Wyoming because they didn't want to spend money on "buying delegates."

"Nobody has better toys than I do. I can put them in the best planes and bring them to the best resorts anywhere in the world. Doral, Mar-a-Lago," said Trump. "I have something that blows everything away. But it’s a corrupt system."

Trump told reporters before a speech in Staten Island that the system has nothing to do with democracy.

Trump said that if he wanted to, he could give better perks to delegates than the Cruz campaign, but reiterated that he has no plans to do so.

"I’m winning by a lot. I think we’re going to win the 1,237. I think we’re not going to have the second ballot," he said.

Trump's path to the nomination became less certain Saturday after Texas Sen. Ted Cruz swept 14 available delegates in Wyoming, a week after doing the same in Colorado. Trump said his campaign didn't put much effort into either state because he said his campaign represents the voters, not the party "bosses."

Trump’s campaign has accused the Cruz campaign of breaking the rules when it comes to the hunt for the delegates needed to secure the nomination. His convention manager, Paul Manafort, today threatened the campaign would be challenging some results.

"We'll be filing protests. Missouri, we're going to be filing protests. Colorado, we're going to be filing protests," Manafort said on ABC's "This Week."
