Trump Following GOP Contest Wins: 'We Have To Bring Our Party Together'

The GOP frontrunner is projected to win Illinois, North Carolina and Florida.

As for Trump's key issue of border control, he said, "We need protection in our country, and that is going to happen."

The GOP frontrunner kept the tone upbeat, saying, "We are going to have a great victory. We're going to win, win, win."

He did acknowledge -- albeit subtly -- the overly-enthusiastic nature of some of his supporters, claiming "there is great anger" in the country.

His campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, who was accused by Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields of assault at a recent campaign stop -- a claim which the campaign vigorously denied -- also received a shout-out from Trump. "Good job, Corey," Trump said to him.

And Trump's notorious disdain for the media was also present in his speech. "They don't understand basic physics, basic mathematics, basic whatever you want to call it," he said.
