White House Easter Egg Roll's 3 Unspeakably Cute Moments

Somehow, President Obama was upstaged by a bee.

Not in attendance: first daughters Malia and Sasha, who “had a little school stuff going on today,” according to President Obama.

But their parents – along with first dogs Bo and Sunny – emerged from the White House to supervise the Roll and pay tribute to the fifth anniversary of the first lady’s physical fitness initiative, “Let’s Move.”

Don't Bee Scared

During the president’s annual reading of Maurice Sendak’s beloved classic, “Where the Wild Things Are,” an uproar broke out after a child spotted a bee in the audience.

“Oh no, a bee!” Obama laughed as the kids screeched in fear. “Hold on, hold on – you guys are wild things! You’re not supposed to be scared of bees when you’re a wild thing!”

FLOTUS Busts a Move

The first lady, an “honorary all-star,” was seriously into the jam.

“I’m just trying not to breathe hard!” she exclaimed after the performance wrapped.

POTUS Gets Bonked?

While playing a game of knockout , the commander-in-chief was almost bonked on the head with a basketball.

But Obama, who missed more shots than he made, laughed it off. He encouraged his teammates, engaged in some good-natured trash talk and even mimicked one little girl’s bouncy posture.

“That's a good defensive stance!” he said, laughing, as he bopped up and down.
