Leah Remini Speaks Exclusively to ABC News About Her Experience with the Church of Scientology
ABC News announced actress Leah Remini will give an exclusive interview on her experience with and ultimate break from the Church of Scientology to Anchor Dan Harris. Remini will talk about her association with the Church for over 30 years as recounted in her memoir “Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology.”
The interview will air on a “20/20” hour on Friday, October 30 at 10 p.m., ET.
Remini’s book describes joining the Church with her family as a teenager, building her career in Hollywood while remaining a conscientious Scientologist, severing her ties with the Church in 2013, and her life since leaving Scientology.
“Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology” will be released on November 3, 2015 by Ballantine Books, an imprint of Random House.
Excerpts of Remini’s interview will air on all ABC News programs and platforms, including “Good Morning America,” “World News Tonight with David Muir,” “Nightline,” ABC News Digital, ABC News Radio and ABC NewsOne.
