title: Is That You, Abigail? It's Me, The Social Climber
text: The Social Climber has a hard enough time recognizing "Little Miss Sunshine" star Abigail Breslin on the red carpet now that she's all grown up. And the 17-year-old beauty, who has now gone blonde, says it's becoming a common problem.
While speaking with E! News at the "August: Osage County" premiere, Meryl Streep's latest co-star said her colleagues didn't know it was her when she turned up on set.
"The cast doesn't recognize me! I was like, 'Hey guys!' and they were like, 'Who's this random girl crashing our photo shoot today?'" she said.

title: Is Katherine Heigl's Attitude 'Not Worth It?'
text: In a rather harsh piece in The Hollywood Reporter today, a number of showbiz insiders trash-talk former "Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl, with one producer saying that because of her attitude, "She's not worth it."
If you recall, Heigl has made headlines in the past for slamming the creators of her work. She notoriously called her first hit film, "Knocked Up," sexist, and then publicly announced that she would not seek an Emmy nod for "Grey's" because, in her words, "I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination."
Perhaps a return to TV is what's in order here. Heigl will return to the small screen as the CIA's chief liaison to the president in a new NBC series, which was announced Sept. 9.

title: Is Apple's New iPhone Already a Flop?
text: That collective disenchanted sigh you might have heard Monday could have been America looking down another impeding week, or perhaps it was disappointment in the new iPhones, which were unveilved in California. The cheaper, colorful iPhone 5c and a high-end iPhone 5s (which can come in gold) got a tepid response from Apple fanatics, and the markets are now responding the same way, with the company's shares falling 5.4 percent Wednesday.
Is it the high price of the 5c? Or the less-than-stunning features on the 5s? Or is a gold phone just really tacky?

title: It's All Good, Man! 'Breaking Bad' Spinoff Is a Go
text: Like a cockroach, Saul Goodman, the slimy, uncouth attorney helping pull the strings with Walter White's meth operation on the smash hit "Breaking Bad," won't be going anywhere after the series finale this Fall.
AMC and Sony Pictures Television announced Wednesday that "Better Call Saul," the long-rumored "Breaking Bad" spinoff, has been picked up by AMC.
The Social Climber, a Bob Odenkirk fanatic, is pleased.

title: Miss America Pageant Gets Edgy
text: Keep your eyes peeled at this year's Miss America pageant for Sgt. Theresa Vail, arguably the hippest lady to walk the stage, ever. The Army sergeant, an expert M16 marksman who sports two tattoos, one on her shoulder and one tracing down her right side, is unashamed to show off her ink to America while appearing as Miss Kansas.
"Why am I choosing to bear my tattoos?" Vail said, according to "People." "My whole platform is empowering women to overcome stereotypes and break barriers. What a hypocrite I would be if I covered my ink. And her talent? Opera singing.
The Social Climber thinks she's found a new role model.
