title: Rapper Kendrick Lamar Ignites Twitter Battle With Controversial Versetext: Apparently, if you're a rapper and you rap a (very long) verse in a song about how you're so much better than all of your peers, it doesn't go over well with all of your peers. Surprise.
Kendrick Lamar is crash-course learning that lesson right now. On Monday night, Big Sean released "Control," a leftover track from his upcoming album. Lamar is one of the collaborators on the track and he name-checked a laundry list of other rappers before crowning himself "king of New York."
While some, like Missy Elliott, praised Lamar's talent on the verse, others, like Lupe Fiasco, were less than pleased.
"Y'all know y'all easily impressed. Bar so low you need a shovel to get at it," he tweeted.
Rappers and fans alike have taken the obvious next step in this great debate: to the Twitter battlefield! There's a lot of ... let's say, "colorful" language used that Social Climber doesn't deem fit to publish in this space.

title: The Royal Baby Is Coming, The Royal Baby Is Coming!text: OK, yes, the royal baby has already arrived. But the first official pictures will soon be in and, let's be honest, don't we all miss Royal Baby Watch just a little? Social Climber does.
William and Kate are the coolest royals ever (in our humble opinion) because they're not afraid do to things their own way and it looks like the first official photos of little Prince George won't be any different.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have reportedly decided that the first pictures of Prince George since he left the hospital will be home-taken snapshots. The couple might opt out of the professional photo shoot that has long been a palace standard, at least for now. They might even release the photo via Twitter.
The Daily Mirror reports that the pictures of the tike are expected to appear on the Kensington Palace's Twitter feed sometime this week, and that they will show off the photography skills of shutterbugs aunt Pippa Middleton and royal grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton.
Stay calm and feel free to refresh the palace's Twitter page every two minutes. We will. Sorry we're not sorry.

title: Michael Jordan, 50, Can Still Dunktext: When ya got it, ya got it. But at 50?
Michael Jordan, the former Chicago Bulls superstar and name behind the sneakers that still cause stampedes when a new pair are released, took a second this weekend to remind everyone that he's still, well, Michael Jordan.
The superstar proved that he's still got it at an event at the Michael Jordan Flight School basketball camp at the University of California-Santa Barbara when he casually dunked a basketball while fending off a pint-sized opponent.
It's gotta be the shoes, right?

title: One Direction's Niall Horan Stuck With Cheeky Tattoo text: The boys of One Direction are always up for a good laugh, but a gag that Niall Horan, 19, went along with while visiting the U.K.'s panel game show "A League of Their Own" left him with a red face and an inky backside.
See, Horan is the only One Direction-er without a tattoo. Although The Social Climber hasn't seen the show, it's clear that "League" comic host James Corden is a jokester and, to have a bit of a laugh, got Horan to put a temporary tattoo of the host's face on his butt cheek. And then it didn't come off.
"We tattooed it on his left buttock -- it took him three weeks to get rid of it," Corden told U.K. paper The Sun. "He sent me an update every week, with a photo of my fading face on his a** saying, 'It's still not gone yet.'"

title: Hyperloop: Los Angeles to San Francisco in 30 Minutes? text: Can you imagine life without traffic jams? If billionaire inventor Elon Musk has his way, it could be a reality.
Musk revealed plans for what could be the future of travel Monday when he announced the much-acclaimed Hyperloop, a high-speed transit system linking Los Angeles and San Francisco. There's a lot of technical mumbo jumbo that would go into building the Hyperloop but, basically, it would shoot passengers about 400 miles between the two cities in roughly 30 minutes.
Um, is there a special hairspray that comes with that?
Musk, 42, has described the Hyperloop as "a cross between a Concorde [supersonic airliner], a rail gun and an air hockey table." He estimates that the cost of the project would fall between $6 billion and $7.5 billion. Ouch!

"Blossom" star Mayim Bialik recently explained to "Access Hollywood" that she decided to blog about her divorce because it was "very cathartic."
After Bialik and her now ex-husband went through California's divorce proceedings, she said the pair had to get divorced again. No, Bialik isn't a two-time divorcee. The pair also had to get divorced through their Jewish faith.
"There's something called a 'Get,'" she said. "There's a religious process. You sit in the same room and you watch your divorce deed be written."
