Herrera, a former soccer star, is also known by his nickname, "Piojo," meaning "louse" and used to sport an impressive mullet.
His colorful and straight shooting personality has made him on of the biggest characters to look out for at the World Cup.
Active on social media, Herrera isn't shy about sharing his off-field shenanigans -- from fishing trips to posting a photo with American football quarterback Tom Brady. Herrera has even claimed that the New England Patriots star asked him for the photo.
It's a safe bet that Herrera will party even harder if his team can defeat the mighty host nation's side when Mexico faces off against Brazil on June 17.
