In the first half, Jermaine Jones slammed into Uzbek referee Ravshan Irmatov, knocking himself to the ground.
In the second half, Jones collided with teammate Alejandro Bedoya, proving Team USA is struggling to keep it together on the wet grass.
Fans on social media chided the Irmatov for being in the way, some joking he should have given himself a yellow card. But typically, soccer players are supposed to avoid referees monitoring the game on the pitch.
The harsh weather could also be to blame for players' clumsiness -- it's hard to believe anyone can see clearly in the heavy rain.
