Chargers' Jim Harbaugh briefly exits vs. Broncos with illness

DENVER -- Los Angeles Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh left in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos with an illness, according to the team.

The team said Harbaugh was questionable to return to the game, and he was back on the sideline a short time later. The Chargers went on to win 23-16.

Defensive coordinator Jesse Minter served as the team's interim head coach.

Harbaugh first went to the team's medical tent before walking into the locker room with trainers.

With Harbaugh out, Chargers safety Elijah Molden secured an interception, and kicker Cameron Dicker made a field goal on the team's first offensive drive to give the Chargers a 3-0 lead.
