Chiefs' Mahomes "most likely" to start vs. Texans, Reid says

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is likely to start Saturday's game against the Houston Texans despite a high ankle injury, coach Andy Reid told reporters Thursday.

Mahomes has practiced in full this week after sustaining the injury in Sunday's 21-7 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

"He worked out this week, full. He'll most likely end up playing. We'll just see how things work out today," Reid said.
