Drawing conclusions from Week 10

— -- Each Sunday during the season, ESPN.com will highlight four storylines that had an impact on the College Football Playoff race.

No. 3 Auburn 35, No. 4 Ole Miss 31

With less than two minutes remaining, Laquon Treadwell seemingly scored to give Ole Miss the lead. But on replay, the officials reversed the call. To make matters worse, Treadwell was injured on the play and is likely done for the season. Auburn, meanwhile, escapes with a win and its College Football Playoff hopes intact.

No. 2 Florida State 42, No. 25 Louisville 31

Louisville jumped out to an early lead and seemed in control of the game. Nothing was going right for the Seminoles -- including a missed field goal attempt by the can't-miss kid, Roberto Aguayo. But the Cardinals couldn't keep up the pace in the second half, and Jameis Winston led Florida State to another comeback win.

Rumble in the Pac-12

It was a wild weekend in the Pac-12, where No. 5 Oregon ran past rival Stanford to clear its way to the College Football Playoff. No. 12 Arizona was tamed by No. 22 UCLA. And No. 17 Utah took No. 14 Arizona State to overtime before succumbing to the Sun Devils. Which teams will emerge from the wild, wild West unscathed?

Florida 38, No. 11 Georgia 20

In the day's most surprising result, Florida and embattled coach Will Muschamp took out No. 11 Georgia, the presumptive favorite in the SEC East. The loss throws the division race into chaos -- giving Florida, a team that most wrote off weeks ago -- a chance to play in the championship game. The loss effectively ends Georgia's playoff hopes.
