Spurrier dons Oklahoma gear

Did Steve Spurrier ever coach at Oklahoma? No. Then why was he wearing Sooner gear on Saturday? Well, his son is the director of high school recruiting and an offensive specialist on Bob Stoops' staff. And Stoops was the Head Ball Coach's defensive coordinator prior to getting the head job in Norman. Retirement is clearly treating Spurrier well.

Brady back at the Big House

Tom Brady is enjoying some league-mandated time off. This weekend he's back in Ann Arbor for a game for the first time since 1999. Joining Jordan, Jeter and The Nature Boy before him, Brady is part of the Michigan celebrity fan club welcomed around the program by Jim Harbaugh.

Before the game, Brady and Harbaugh had a game of catch. Neither have eligibility remaining.

Oregon honored Nebraska punter Sam Foltz by laying flowers at the 27-yard line at Memorial Stadium. Foltz was killed in a car accident July 23.
