Sources: Canes interview Dan Mullen, Greg Schiano, Butch Davis
-- Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen and former coaches Greg Schiano and Butch Davis have interviewed for the Miami Hurricanes' head coaching job, sources confirmed to ESPN on Tuesday.
Mullen, who has a 54-35 record in seven seasons with the Bulldogs, has interviewed with Miami officials in the last 24 hours, sources told ESPN's Chris Low.
Davis, 64, a former Hurricanes coach, has been out of coaching since he was fired by North Carolina in the summer of 2011.
Schiano, a former Rutgers and Tampa Bay Bucs coach, is an ESPN analyst.
Larry Scott served as the interim coach after Al Golden was fired Oct. 26 following a 58-0 loss to Clemson. Golden went 32-25 in his four-plus seasons with the Canes.
