Sources: Jim Larranaga in talks with Miami about stepping down

Miami is in talks with basketball coach Jim Larranaga about him stepping down immediately, a source has confirmed to ESPN's Pete Thamel.

Some clarity is expected later Thursday, the source told ESPN.

The Miami Herald first reported that Larranaga was expected to step down.
