Sources: MRI on Warriors' Stephen Curry checks out clean
The MRI on Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry's right ankle returned clean Friday and a clearer timeline on his return will come with how the ankle responds over the next several days, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Friday.
The expectation is that Curry won't miss much time for the Warriors, sources said.
Curry was hurt late in Thursday's loss to the Bulls.
He rolled his ankle on a drive to the hoop with 3:51 remaining in the fourth quarter. Flanked by Chicago's Alex Caruso and Derrick White, Curry planted his right foot and rolled it.
He tried to walk it off, but coach Steve Kerr subbed him out. Curry immediately headed to the locker room with head of player health and performance Rick Celebrini.
