Super Bowl 2015: Why Marshawn Lynch Ate Skittles Before the Game
The story behind his love of a certain candy.
— -- Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is a big fan of Skittles and has been so for a while. He loves them so much that he was spotted on the sidelines today eating a handful prior to the kickoff of Super Bowl XLIX.
Lynch's mother did an interview in 2012 explaining that her son has loved the colorful candy since he was a kid.
"I would give him a handful of Skittles and say, 'Eat 'em up, baby. They're going to make you run fast and they're going to make you play good," Delisa Lynch said.
