-- This soccer fan went to great lengths -- and distances -- to realize his World Cup dreams.
Carlos Jafarov and a friend drove from Albany, N.Y., to Brazil to see the World Cup -- a road trip that took 50 days and about 10,000 miles, he told ABC News.
He even named his trusty RV Frank.

"It reminds me of somebody older, mature, somebody trustworthy," Jafarov said of the name. "And also my favorite player is Frank Lampard."
Jafarov spent about $6,000 on gas and thousands more on the trip, but says it's all worth it. He might even make the trek to Russia for the World Cup in 2018, he said. It's pretty clear he's already thought about it.
"We can drive up to Alaska and get a ferry to Kamchatka and drive through Siberia to Moscow," Jafarov said.
But for this trip, he and his pal plan to take a plane back to New York and ship the RV home.
