Warriors' Stephen Curry leaves game after hard fall to court

— -- Golden State Warriors star and NBA MVP  Stephen Curry left Monday night's Game 4 of the Western Conference finals against the Houston Rockets in the second quarter after taking a hard fall on his neck and back area near the basket.

Curry got caught in the air on top of the Rockets' Trevor Ariza on a play near the basket with about six minutes to play in the first half and cascaded to the floor, nearly falling directly on his head as he was unable to control his fall.

Curry stayed on the floor for several minutes as he was attended to by medical staff as teammates and coaches looked on.

He then stood up with help and left through a concourse ramp, rubbing the side of his head with a dazed look as he was escorted to the locker room.

The Rockets had jumped to a 20-point lead as the Warriors looked to close out the series, leading 3-0.
