Week 14 fantasy winners and losers: Wilson goes off, Megatron gets shut down

Winners

Russell Wilson, QB, Seattle Seahawks: How locked in has Wilson been the past three weeks? He has scored 30 fantasy points in all three games, becoming the first player since Tom Brady in 2007 (Weeks 6-8) to have such a streak. On Sunday, Wilson threw for five touchdowns for the second time in his career. The other time came just two weeks ago against the Steelers.

Doug Baldwin, WR, Seattle Seahawks: Baldwin's fantasy production the past five weeks: 19, 6, 32, 21, 26. Not bad. Baldwin has now scored multiple touchdowns in three consecutive games. According to ESPN Stats & Information, he's the first player since James Jones in 2012 to do that.

Cam Newton, QB, Carolina Panthers: Newton might have the highest floor among any fantasy player right now. He hasn't scored fewer than 17 points in a game since Week 9, and on Sunday against the Falcons, he easily eclipsed that number in the first half with 21 points. Newton threw for a career-high 246 yards in the first half before packing it in for the remainder of the game with the Panthers up big.

Todd Gurley, RB, St. Louis Rams: Todd Gurley found himself on the other portion of this list until he busted a 49-yard run midway through the third quarter. He finished the game with 140 yards on 16 carries and two touchdowns. His 26 points were his highest total since Week 7 against Cleveland.

Eddie Lacy, RB, Green Bay Packers: Lacy picked a good time to have his best performance of the season. With coach Mike McCarthy taking over play-calling duties, Lacy got 25 touches and gained 148 yards. He even added a late fourth-quarter touchdown to turn in his first 20-point performance of 2015.

DeAngelo Williams, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers: Those who picked up Williams hoping for RB1 production in Le'Veon Bell's absence haven't been disappointed. He has now scored 16, 14 and 20 points in his past three games, after a 23-carry, 76-yard, two-TD effort against the Bengals on Sunday.

Brandon Marshall, WR, New York Jets: No one has quite figured out how to shut down Marshall this season when he's healthy. He put up his third consecutive game with at least 125 yards receiving. The big play came on a 69-yard touchdown during which the entire Titans secondary seemed to lose track of Marshall.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, New York JetsFitzpatrick has had three favorable matchups the last three weeks, and all he's done is put up fantasy totals of 29, 25 and 24 points. On Sunday, the Jets blew out the Titans behind Fitzpatrick's 263 yards passing and three TDs

A.J. Green, WR, Cincinnati BengalsGreen was unfazed by QB Andy Dalton's departure early in the game with a thumb injury. The WR continued to put up monster numbers (six catches, 132 yards and one TD) marking his third consecutive game with at least 18 points. Green caught a 66-yard TD in the second quarter from backup QB AJ McCarron.

Blake Bortles, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars: Bortles threw for 250 yards and three touchdowns against an overmatched Colts defense that allowed 51 points to the Jaguars. A late rushing TD helped propel Bortles to 25 points, marking his third consecutive game with at least 20.

Losers

Calvin Johnson, WR, Detroit Lions: For just the eighth time in his long career, Megatron was held under two fantasy points in a game. QB Matthew Stafford targeted Johnson five times, and the WR converted that into just one catch for 16 yards.

Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay BuccaneersThis looked like a golden matchup for Evans, who was facing the Saints' putrid secondary. But the second-year wideout managed just three catches and 39 yards on four targets.

Brandin Cooks, WR, New Orleans SaintsComing off a great game against the Panthers' tough defense (six catches, 104 yards and a TD), owners had high hopes for Cooks against the Bucs. But he was limited to three catches, 29 yards and two fantasy points.

Jeremy Hill, RB, Cincinnati BengalsIf you made it to the fantasy playoffs with Hill as your lead back, that's quite impressive, but he likely ended your season on Sunday with his one-point effort against the Steelers. After being projected as one of the second-year RBs primed for a breakout, Hill scored two points or fewer in five games this season.

Dez Bryant, WR, Dallas Cowboys: As long as Matt Cassel is starting at quarterback, Bryant might not be worth starting. The WR caught just one of his six targets against the Packers, gaining nine yards total. It marked the third-worst game of Dez's career -- the other two came when Romo was sidelined with a broken collarbone in ... 2010.

DeMarco Murray, RB, Philadelphia EaglesMurray continues to not be a priority in the Eagles' offense. A week after getting eight carries and scoring two fantasy points, Murray gained just 34 yards on 11 carries against the Bills. It's his fourth consecutive game of six points or fewer.

Devonta Freeman, RB, Atlanta FalconsThe early-season fantasy MVP was a bust on Sunday, rushing for just 40 yards on 12 carries. As the Falcons' performance on the field has gone south, so too has Freeman's reliability in fantasy.

Travis Kelce, TE, Kansas City ChiefsKelce owners who had been waiting patiently for a breakout performance got one in Week 12, as the TE posted a 12-point outing. But in his last two games, Kelce has managed only five total points. The biggest concern has to be his low target volume -- five on Sunday and two in Week 13.

Emmanuel Sanders, WR, Denver Broncos: Sanders' last two games haven't been pretty -- five total catches, 36 receiving yards, zero touchdowns and zero total fantasy points (he had a fumble today). Yikes.
